For the base:
Melt in microwave:

1/2 cup margarine or butter

Add:

5 Tbsp. white sugar
5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 beaten egg

Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, until blended and slightly thickened.  Stir in:

2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped or ground walnuts or pecans

Press into a greased 9x13 pan. Cool.
For the icing:
Cream together:

1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. milk
2 cups icing sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla custard powder

Spread on cooled base.  Then melt:

4 oz. semisweet chocolate (Squares or 3/4 cup chocolate chips)
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Spread over icing.  Allow chocolate to harden then cut into squares.
