Puffed Wheats definitely taste better when something is added to them.  This recipe was a staple in our house before we started making Rice Krispie bars.

Melt in saucepan:

1/3 cup oleo

Then add:

1/2 cup syrup
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook until this begins to bubble, then remove from heat and pour over:

8 cups Puffed Wheats

Mix well.  Press into greased 9x13 pan.
