lemon juice

I usually keep this in the fridge in a pint jar and heat some when needed.

Combine and bring to a boil:

  • 2 Tbsp. dry onion
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 dashes tobasco sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup flour

Pour over partially roasted and drained beef ribs.  Bake at 350ºF for 1 1/2 hours.

This recipe is from the wife of one of my bosses.  It tastes good on hot summer days.

Mix together in bowl:

  • 4 1/2 cups cooked, sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper

Combine and boil:

Base:

  • 1 large head of Romaine lettuce

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup salad or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic, cut into quarters
