Celery

Brown:

2 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion (chopped)

Mix together:

1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1 1/4 cups uncooked rice
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
2 cans Chicken with Rice soup
2 cans water
1/2 cup Soya sauce

Add this mix to the browned hamburger and onions.  Pour into casserole and bake for 30 minutes, covered, at 350ºF.  Sprinkle over the top:

Chow Mein noodles

Bake an additional 20 minutes uncovered.

Those of you who like dressing with poultry - this is great.

This is often requested by Lori and Lloyd.  I do find it sticks to the bottom of my casserole even when I grease it.  Any suggestions?  if not, I’ll keep making it as described, scratch the crust out of the casserole as much as possible, then soak for a while to clean it.  I use a 4 quart casserole (mine has pretty irises on it).
