Soup Mix

Combine:

  • 2 cups dry milk
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon
  • 2 Tbsp. dried onion
  • 1 pkg. Butter Buds
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried basil (crushed) (optional)
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme (crushed) (optional)

Store in an airtight container in a cool place (makes 3 cups).  To use: 1/3 cup mix with 1 1/4 cup water, cook and stir until thick, then add mushrooms, potato, celery (cooked) or chicken (cooked and cubed).
