This is a delicious loaf; something like monkey bread but I like to slice it.

I tried it in an angel food cake pan with disastrous results.  The sauce leaked out all over the oven.  If you don't have a tube pan, you could use two bread pans.

Heat until warm:

1 1/4 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup oil

1/3 cup honey

1 1/2 tsp salt

Add, stirring well after each:

2 cups flour

2 eggs, beaten

2 Tbsp yeast

Add a little at a time:

approx. 2 1/2 cups flour

Let rise 1 - 1 1/4 hours.

Press into a large rectangle.

Spread this mixture on the dough:

2 Tbsp butter

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/3 cup walnuts

1/3 cup raisins or dried cranberries

1 Tbsp each orange juice and rind

Roll as for cinnamon rolls; cut into 1 inch slices.  Layer slices in a 10 inch tube pan.

Let rise about an hour.

Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.

Cover with foil during the last 20 minutes if the top is getting dark.

Invert on to plate. Enjoy.

I've done it with less yeast and longer rise times on days when I am home.
