Jon & Er asked for a copy of Lori's cookies recipe so I thought I'd send it around more broadly in case any of the rest of you haven't enjoyed the scrumptiousness lately.

Preheat Oven 350 F

  • 2/3 Cup butter (softened)
  • 1 1/2 Cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 Cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs (room temp)
  • 2 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 Cup raisins
  • 6 Cup oats

Cream together butter and peanut butter in large bowl.

Add sugar. Beat until creamy.

Add eggs. Mix until fluffy (1 min).

Add soda and salt. Mix until blended.

Stir in chocolate chips, raisins, oats.

Drop by golfball sized spoonfuls (do not flatten) onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until light brown around the edges (they don't look done, but take out).Cool on pans for 2 min before removing to wire racks. Bag and freeze any extras.
